FiltXPO will take place Mar. 28-31, 2022, in Miami Beach, Florida. As North America’s only regularly scheduled conference and exhibition dedicated exclusively to filtration and separation, the event will provide three days of provocative debates, with five panels covering pressing topics in the world of filtration and separation, as well as a full exhibition and training program.
This year, FiltXPO, presented by INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, will be co-located with the organization’s flagship event, IDEA. The decision to collocate the show was made by INDA after FiltXPO was rescheduled from its originally planned dates in 2021 due to ongoing challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the 2022 edition, FiltXPO will return to its originally planned 18-month schedule, next taking place Oct. 10-12, 2023, at Navy Pier in Chicago.
Filter Media Training Course
FiltXPO’s Filter Media Training Course will be presented Mar. 28-29, 2022, led by Chris Plotz, INDA’s director of education and technical affairs. The 1.5-day course provides an overview of existing and emerging nonwoven technologies for filtration.
Participants will learn about:
- The physics of filtration
- How nonwoven media are designed and used in air and liquid filtration
- Expanding nanofiber technology achievements and applications
- Latest trends in air and liquid filter media technologies
- Critical unmet needs for nonwovens used as filter media
- Testing standards for air and liquid filtration
The Filter Media Training Course is an intensive course designed for professionals wanting to learn more about the development, testing and application of nonwovens in filtration.
