FLSmidth offers the ClariTube filter, designed for polishing filtration. Using single or multiple tube-shaped filter elements with various filter media, the turbid liquor is filtered through material such as textile bags, wire mesh or wedge wire baskets. Filter media is automatically regenerated using water jetting technology, using water or filtrate, allowing the filtration process to be continuous. This allows for the use of a variety of filter media at a minimum aperture size, leading to the production of filtrate in a lower ppm range without filter aid.
With the use of filter elements, up to a maximum of 20 filter elements per unit, the filtration rate is 5 to 40m3/h per single filter element at a feeds solids range between 50 to 2000 ppm.
