S. Ripandelli, V. Russo, A. Corrente, Filters SpA

Simone Ripandelli is Research Scientist at Filters SpA and also works as a private engineer. He obtained a M.Sc. in Civil Engineering and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering (Industrial Chemistry) at Politecnico di Torino. His research interests lie in the domains of Fluid Mechanics, Statistical Thermodynamics and Chemistry. He collaborates actively with researchers in other disciplines, in particular in the fields of Bioengineering and Structural Mechanics. He has passion for medicine, he plays plays bass guitar and he likes to collect books.

Alessio Corrente is a Research and Development Engineer at Filters SpA. His work focuses on the filtration processes in industrial application, specifically in liquid gas filtration. His research interests are related to industrial processes, in particular in the field of Oil and Gas. He obtained his M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino. He likes to practice outdoor sports and to alternate theoretical and practical work activities.

Vincenzo Russo is a Research Engineer at Filters SpA. He has a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and his work mainly focuses on the design of the filtration items in the Oil and Gas sector. He tests and controls these units with theoretical and experimental studies, in the R&D Centre and in the field. The research of new solutions drives his studies. His current work is on the design of coalescing filter elements. As an authentic Italian, he likes food and cooking for family and friends.
