Metso Outotec is launching three filtration inspection packages centered around offering improved filter availability, better filter performance and longer equipment life. The packages are designed to identify common wear and tear issues, such as problems with the plate packs, leakages and misalignments.
The three filter inspection packages are:
- The Filter Visuals and Vitals package to provide understanding of the overall condition of a filter. The package is designed as a filter quick check, focusing on determining the condition of the filter while minimizing downtime required for the inspection.
- The Filter Mechanical Verification package, a standard level inspection with adjustments and fixes for improvement to the overall availability of a filter. It includes all the items in the Visuals and Vitals package as well as an OEM inspection with guards and covers removed.
- The Filter Customized Inspection package, including all elements from the Visuals and Vitals and Mechanical Verification packages. This package involves an inspection and measurement of the filter’s hydraulics and optional system flushing or inventory audits to determine spare parts requirements.
